Programs - After-School Garden Clubs

The Neighborhood Farm Initiative NFI works in partnership with the Latin American Youth Center to lead after-school gardening activities at MacFarland Middle School and Powell Elementary School. Gardening activities are outdoors and hands-on as weather permits. Throughout the winter, students engage in indoor activities that complement their classroom learning, allowing youth to explore plant science and healthy eating in fun and inspiring ways!
